Bernardi & Co is taking part in the adoption of IFRS in Indonesia

As a member of International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI) has committed to adopt the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in 2012. Michelle Bernardi, Technical Advisor of Drs. Bernardi & Co, is taking part as the IFRS Implementation Team, appointed by IAI to support the Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards Board of IAI (DSAK-IAI) in a successful implementation of IFRS in Indonesia.

The IFRS Implementation Team consists of 12 people with different professional backgrounds, collaborating effectively in socializing new IFRS-based standards to public as well as providing seminars and trainings to improve public understanding of the new standards.
